How to measure yourself correctly to find your size

Choosing the correct size is the first step to feeling comfortable and confident in your clothes. At CASHIA FASHION, we know that every body is unique, so we explain how to easily measure yourself at home so your next order is a success.

What you need

  • A flexible measuring tape (sewing tape)
  • Underwear or fitted clothing
  • A mirror or someone's help

The 4 key measurements

1. Bust

Woman correctly measuring her bust circumference with a measuring tape to choose her size.

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, parallel to the floor. Don't squeeze; let the tape be snug but comfortable.

2. Waist

Woman placing a measuring tape on the narrowest part of her waist to correctly choose her size.

Measure the narrowest part of your torso, generally a few centimeters above your belly button. Keep the tape horizontal.

3. Hips

Woman placing a measuring tape around the widest part of her hips to correctly choose her size

Place the tape around the widest part of your hips and glutes. This is usually between 18 and 23 cm below the waist.

4. Inseam (for jeans and trousers)

Woman measuring the inseam from the crotch to the ankle to correctly choose the pant length.

Measure from the crotch to the ankle along the inside of your leg. This measurement is key for getting the right length.

Tips for success

  • Always measure yourself standing tall and straight
  • Jot down your measurements in centimeters
  • If you are between two sizes, size up — it's always easier to adjust than to force
  • Consult our specific size guide for each category: jeans, dresses, and tops can vary
